PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
For the past six years, Ms. Howar has been selling residential and commercial real estate in the greater Washington, DC, area. She joined Washington Fine Properties in 2009. Prior to her career in real estate, Ms. Howar was educated in the healthcare field, worked as a telecommunications attorney and, most recently, as a consultant in healthcare informatics and telemedicine. Out of law school, Ms. Howar worked for National Telephone Systems and then took a White House political position during the Clinton Administration as an FCC committee member on Telecommunications and Healthcare. Subsequently, she became a Founding Partner at Potomac Strategies International and served as the Director of the Healthcare and IT Practice. She then became the CEO of HealthCPR Technologies, a web-based consumer health services company. Following this, Ms. Howar was a management consultant in Healthcare IT with Jefferson Consulting Company and a principal with Stonehenge Holdings Group, LLC, an investment partnership, before redirecting her career to real estate.
